Good Lord, I think I'm getting desensitized to all the awful in these passages because right now the thing that pisses me off most is how British everyone sounds. No one says 'I'm not keen on coffee' here. No one. I bet Ana says Wednesday with three syllables.
I’m getting to that point myself. I’ve accepted that the English in Fifty Shades of Grey is going to be insulting to fifth-graders and moved on to being horrified that everything is British and abusive and and generally conceptually awful.
