Anonymous asked: One of the (many) things that pissed me off about Chapter 2 was the way E.L James kept trying to be scientific by talking about the medulla oblongata and whatnot, then almost immediately moved on to using metaphorical language about Ana's bodily functions. When writing, either be literal or figurative. Trying to do both WILL confuse your readers.
